Cooks in the Hall
Langdon Hall | www.langdonhall.ca
Built in 1902 by Eugene Langdon Wilks, Langdon Hall was once a grand summer home intended to contrast life in New York, London and a château in the Loire valley.
In 1989, William Bennett and Mary Beaton opened Langdon Hall as a “country house hotel.” The rest, as they say, is history. Offering 52 guest rooms and suites, a complete spa, and five-diamond dining from the kitchen of acclaimed Ccef Jonathan Gushue, Langdon hall is also an ideal location for an extravagant and utterly memorable wedding.
Along with four nature trails, guests are invited to walk around the lush kitchen gardens and ask the knowledgeable gardeners questions. Langdon Hall also offers garden-themed weekends in the spring that focus on the vegetables and flowers growing on the property. Throughout the summer, guests can attend weekend cooking demonstrations and sommelier wine tastings as part of their overnight stay.
